Antoine Predock

Architect Antoine Predock became entranced with the landscape of the American southwest while studying at the School of Architecture at the University of New Mexico. Since then, he has built a career that is as much part of New Mexico as it is a part of him. Predock founded the Antoine Predock Architect in 1967—a firm based in Albuquerque—and has worked as a designer for expansive spaces that seamlessly weave the present with the past. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his ability to design highly contextual works that respond to their environment, including the San Diego Padres Ballpark, Austin City Hall in Texas and the Tacoma Art Museum in Tacoma, Washington—to name a few. He was also awarded the National Design Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2007.
