Laurinda Spear

A founding member of Arquitectonica, Laurinda Spear has designed many of the firm’s signature projects and has won over a hundred design awards throughout her career. With a fine arts degree from Brown University, Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Florida International University, Spear has been instrumental in the expansion of Arquitectonica into fields beyond architecture and planning. A member of the Interior Design Hall of Fame, as well as having over 150 different products on the market under dozens of global brands, Spear’s focus on design has garnered worldwide acclaim. Additionally, Spear is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, recipient of the AIA Silver Medal and the Rome Prize for Architecture.
