Fredi Brodmann

Fredi Brodmann

Since childhood, German artist Fredi Brodmann always had an affinity for cartoon drawings. As an editorial cartoonist working in Europe, a special series of cartoons about time inspired Brodmann to make his first watch collection in 1985: “WatchMe.” For many years following that series, Brodmann spent his time away from cartoons in order to immerse himself in the watch and fashion industries. Since then, he worked to relentlessly create signature watches for a wide variety of brands, licensees and private labels including Puma, US Airforce and Fossil. In addition to displaying his cartoons at numerous European exhibits and in publications, Brodmann’s watch creations have been displayed in the MoMa, Neue Galerie Wempe and Tourneau.
