Thomas Mayne

The principal architect of La firm morphosis, Thomas Mayne is known for his experimental architectural forms. Over the years, this distinct style has been applied to a number of Mayne’s design projects for cultural, civic and academic institutions,, including the Bloomberg Center at Cornell Tech, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science and 41 Cooper Square, the academic building at Cooper Union. In addition to holding teaching positions at Columbia, yale and Harvard—to name a few—Mayne has also received a number of distinguished honors, including the Pritzker Prize, AIA GOld Medal serving on the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities under President Obama.
