Cesar Pelli

Argentine-born American architect Cesar Pelli is widely regarded as one of the 20th century’s preeminent architects. Known for the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur and the World Financial Center building New York City, Pelli was an architect known for designing some of the world’s tallest buildings and other major urban landmarks. As well as being a recipient of the 1995 AIA Gold Medal and the 2008 Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, Pelli was also named one of the ten most influential living American architects in 1991 from the American Institute of Architects.
