With the Compass watch, designer Joel Escalona asks the question “What's the purpose of checking the time?” Time gives us notion and orientation, much like a compass. Both minimalist and powerful, the black dial, with a single blue hand, plays with the core metaphor of this watch, answering his question with another question—where do we want to go and what are we prioritizing in our life?
