Kiura BLACK Chronograph

Designer: Alessio Romano

In a nostalgic shout-out in the Sicilian dialect of the watch's designer, "ki-uh-ra" recalls the Italian word "chi ura" or "what time is it?" Kiura is also a word that delves into the culture and language of Japan. In Japan where simplicity, harmony, ethics, and severity are the pillars of the welfare of the inner life, they are also the principles that have inspired designers past and present to reflection and re-evaluation of a classic watch style: the chronograph. The Kiura Watch White Chronograph embodies these characteristics by reducing and simplifying every aspect of the "classic" chronograph, by returning it to the essence of its simple and pure graphics ensuring maximum efficiency and precision.

Kiura WHITE Chronograph is a contemporary and classic design free from all those confusing (and unnecessary) markings that few understand. A watch that reads like the time you understand. Clearly proud of the mantra that less is more!

Designer Alessio Romano attended the Institute of Art, Catania, Italy and Graduated the IED [ Instituto Europeo di Design] Milan, Italy.
