40mm M&Co Brass Bodoni Watch
M&Co IPG Brass Color Stainless Steel
“Waste Not a Moment”
40mm M&Co Brass Bodoni Watch, a classic reborn. While the origins of the M&Co series are rooted in timeless design and have remained consistent for the better part of 30 years, Projects is now ready to introduce the next generation of The Bodoni Watch. Identical in design to the 33mm variant, the M&Co Brass Bodoni is now available in a 40mm size. The new 40mm Bodoni differs slightly in that the hands are longer, this complements the shape of the watch and makes for a more well rounded design.
40mm M&Co Brass Bodoni Watch has long been recognized as an icon of simplistic and pure watch design. Originally designed in 1984, the classic all black version gave way to the brushed stainless steel version. And now, The M&Co Bodoni BRASS. In reality, this is made to the same specifications of the classic black, except in IP brass (or gold depending upon your interpretation) stainless steel. The Bodoni Watch from M&Co in classic black, stainless and now brass/gold finish was the brainchild of creator Tibor Kalman.
40mm M&Co Brass Bodoni Watch features the classic Bodoni typeface designed by Giambattista Bodoni (1740-1813) in late 18th-early 19th century, Italy. Bodoni’s typeface is characterized by easily recognizable Romantic typeface, vertical stress, slight serif bracketing, a vertical tail of Q, and a small upper bowl of g. Clearly a classic of its day, and even today, the M&Co Bodoni Brass Watch from M&Co has clean lines that carefully teeter from light to dark and back. Bodoni is timeless. Each hand-crafted timepiece is made of an IP brass/gold color stainless steel that ensures a lasting finish. Bodoni comes with a genuine top stitched brown textured leather band lined with a taupe glove leather finish and a matching gold/brass stainless steel buckle.
The late Tibor Kalman, founder of M&Co. began his legendary relationship with time in 1983. In the spirit of the motto imprinted on the backside of the watches – “Waste Not a Moment.” Tibor Kalman (1949-1999) founded the legendary, multidisciplinary design firm M&Co in 1979. In collaboration with his wife Maira, the conceptually progressive firm initially created graphics, magazines and film titles, and books. Following the release of a record album cover for the rock band Talking Heads, M&Co gained major attention for “pushing the envelope” on conventions of design and typography, and went on to become a major influence on emerging designers. Projectswatches and M&Co began their historic relationship back in 2005 both companies sharing their common love of design and the timepiece. M&Co with its love of design and the whimsy and Projects watches with its love of design and architecture. A perfect marriage.
