The Orange Sometimes Watch
The Orange Sometimes Watch palette is both contemporary and classic, with elongated white hands juxtaposed against the black dial. The second hand aligns with the minute and hour for but a moment. The independent movement of the seconds appear to be out of sync with time itself.
Sometimes it’s better to stop thinking about the time, whatever happens, it will not stop. Hours, minutes and seconds continue to play together. Something will happen… Let’s wait.- Denis Guidone
The Orange Sometimes Watch is constructed of a black IP Stainless Steel for durability and built with a high quality quartz movement. What makes this timepiece truly unique is the way the band “feeds” through the bottom of the watch. There are two loops on the case back. The band simply slips through these loops. If you are “not feeling” the orange band; no problem switch to a black band. This is perfect for those times you feel like being a bit more discreet! The Orange Sometimes comes standard with either an orange leather band or you can choose a black leather band or a black kevlar band. Regardless, no matter how you classify this watch, it is one ORANGE WATCH! One that is sure to garner attention.
Orange Sometimes Watch measures 36mm in diameter (1.40″) and 8.60mm high (0.40″). The IP plated black stainless steel case is complemented by an 18mm one piece black leather band and buckle. Orange Sometimes Watch has lots of band alternatives such as a brown suede, black leather, black kevlar, blue, magenta and patterned. Just shoot us off an email if you would like any of these as an alternative or additional band!
About Denis Guidone
Denis Guidone, as student of architecture, design and visual communication studied urban planning and architecture in Milan, Italy and Oporto, Portugal. His project process was born under the concept of subtraction, an ideology that follows the unification of opposites through a constant approach on the edge of architecture and visual communication, and at the same time mediated by an expressive intensity that addresses work on the basis of subtraction. Fascinated by the passing of time, Guidone carries out this intense didactic work for several universities and design schools, in Italy and abroad. His many awards and honorable mentions include: Ida international design award in Los Angeles, IDOT Best Italian Design Product, and The Bruno Munari international award.
