Outside Watch (2015)
Outside Watch designed by Denis Guidone
With the Outside Watch by Denis Guidone, he has drawn our attention to the modern realm of 21st Century culture.
Applying minimalist traditions, the watch is black and white with no spare elements. The center, a metaphor for the physical center of modern cities, has been eliminated.
Outside is emblematic of how we interact beyond the borders of a city’s historical, economic or cultural center; between the before and after.
Time flows and we flow with it.
Modern, unique, cool these are all words used to describe the Outside Watch. Outside has an hour and minute hand in white; the only color. Outside uses two oversized discs, one for the hour hand and one for the minute, that rotate in what appears to be a seamless manner. Outside is 40mm in diameter and made of a black IP stainless steel making this timepiece truly a unique and modern timepiece that can be worn for sport, dress or in any environment that you would like to make a statement.
Be sure to check out the video of Outside in action.
Outside is designed as a unisex watch to the larger side. It is made of a black IP stainless steel and 40mm in diameter (1.57″) and comes with a 20mm wide black silicone band with black buckle.

About Denis Guidone
Denis Guidone, as student of architecture, design and visual communication studied urban planning and architecture in Milan, Italy and Oporto, Portugal. His project process was born under the concept of subtraction, an ideology that follows the unification of opposites through a constant approach on the edge of architecture and visual communication, and at the same time mediated by an expressive intensity that addresses work on the basis of subtraction. Fascinated by the passing of time, Guidone carries out this intense didactic work for several universities and design schools, in Italy and abroad. His many awards and honorable mentions include: Ida international design award in Los Angeles, IDOT Best Italian Design Product, and The Bruno Munari international award.
February 2018 Denis Guidone has been appointed Ambassador of Italian Design and Culture from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Farnesina and "la Triennale di Milano".Show products
