Ran Lerner

Graduated from Domus Academy in Milan where he received his Master Degree in Industrial Design in 1998. Lerner has lived in New York City since 1999 where he has steadily built up his reputation as a dynamic and international designer. Lerner is best known for his witty sensibility. Ran Lerner Design Inc. was established in 2004, designing for clients of wide accessibility implementing his own signature “whimsy” to aesthetic form. His work is based on the core concept of interaction of product and user, encouraging “touch” and emphasis on the “relationship” of human to object.

Lerner is a frequent lecturer at international design conferences and universities. Recent publications including “1000 product designs 2010″, “Wall street journal”, “New York Times”, “Time out New York”, “Food and wine”, “ID”, “The Today Show” and others.
