We believe that art should be intertwined with everyday life. Artistic expression, and the celebration of creation, should never be limited to a museum, gallery, or your Instagram feed. We believe that art should have the ability to inspire you on a daily basis, in unique and powerful ways. That’s why 30 years ago we started our project: To make wearable works of art made for creators, by creators.
Since then, our watches have been featured in the finest museums and shops around the world and our designers have received the highest awards and recognition in their fields. Most importantly, our watches can be found on thousands of wrists around the globe. We see our timepieces as a token of creative expression, and a symbol of how art can be experienced as a part of the everyday experience.
Creators Are Our Partners
The artist and their creation is the hero, the watch is a key partner and tangible manifestation of what Projects' Watches can do with creators.
This should be felt through our visuals and language.
The focus will be on the creators, our partnership, and the final product. We will not be as focused on the watch, as an object.
Why Make Watches?
We believe that timepieces are a fascinating and impressive mechanical invention of mankind. Visually, however, watches have stayed more or less the same for hundreds of years. With our artists guiding the way, we’re looking to explore the places watch design has never gone before, and truly create wearable works of art.
